Cell Phone Use Policy

Students are expected to demonstrate appropriate and respectful use of these devices while on campus. The teacher may choose to follow the general guidelines for cellphone/iPod use and/or may have a specific policy in their classroom. Please consult with the teacher for this information.
General Guidelines:
  • Cell phones, iPods, and other valuables should be turned off during class and meetings
  • Cell phone photos should only be taken with the permission of the subject in the photo
  • Students should not "text" or communicate via technology during class unless asked to do so as part of a lesson.
  • Cell phones, iPods, and other valuables are brought to school at your own risk. Sunset High School is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Clothes worn to school should be appropriate for school. Sunset High School takes pride in the individuality of its students, however, all students are expected to adhere to our dress code and take responsibility for their choice of clothing:
