REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Prospective students should submit an application for admission online at miracosta.edu/ahsdp prior to attending a registration session.  The Application Confirmation page should be printed and presented at the time of registration.

Ø  Plan to arrive on time.  A timed reading assessment test will be given as part of the registration process.  Once the test has started students will no longer be admitted into the testing room.  The registration process lasts approximately two and a half hours. 

Ø  Bring your transcripts if you have them.  The transcripts will be evaluated and used by the counselor to enroll you in appropriate classes.  

Ø  After the test a counselor will provide a short orientation for the Adult High School and GED Preparation. You will meet with a counselor individually to enroll in courses.

Ø  Please do not bring children.  Children are not allowed in the testing room and may not be left unsupervised in the lobby.
